Turbostart Expands to Delhi-NCR with New Office to Support and Accelerate Emerging Startups in North India
Turbostart, the Bengaluru-headquartered venture capital fund and startup accelerator, has expanded its national footprint by opening a new office in Delhi-NCR, marking a strategic push to support and accelerate emerging startups in North India. This move reflects the organization’s long-term vision of building a deeply connected entrepreneurial ecosystem across regions and giving early-stage founders access to capital, mentorship, and market opportunities at a much earlier stage in their growth journey.
Since its inception, Turbostart has differentiated itself by offering not only funding but also comprehensive support to help startups navigate product development, go-to-market strategies, compliance, technology adoption, and team-building challenges. With over 50 early-stage startups and more than 10 later-stage ventures funded so far, and a cumulative investment exceeding $35 million, the accelerator has steadily built credibility among founders and investors alike. Its entry into Delhi-NCR builds on this foundation and intends to tap into the region’s high concentration of entrepreneurs, corporate innovation hubs, research institutions, and policy organizations.
Delhi-NCR is among the most dynamic startup ecosystems in India, home to thousands of registered startups, prominent unicorns, and some of the country’s top universities and research centers. Turbostart’s leadership has highlighted that North India—particularly Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram—presents enormous scope for innovation in sectors such as SaaS, deep tech, mobility, edtech, fintech, healthtech, and sustainability-focused ventures. By establishing a dedicated office in the capital region, Turbostart aims to stay closer to founders, understand regional challenges more deeply, and provide personalized support.
The Delhi office will house investment teams, sector specialists, and growth-strategy mentors who will work directly with early-stage entrepreneurs. universities and educational institutions. A key initiative tied to the expansion is the regional rollout of Ken42, Turbostart’s AI-powered multi-functional platform designed for under the guidance of CTO Abhishek Sachar, Ken42 aims to modernize how institutions manage operations, admissions, academic planning, and campus engagement. With Delhi-NCR hosting a dense cluster of universities and colleges, this rollout is expected to accelerate the platform’s adoption and provide students with exposure to emerging technologies and entrepreneurial training.
The new office will be led by Piyush Arora, Head of Corporate Strategy and Investments. Arora emphasizes that the talent base, technological capabilities, and youthful demographic of North India make it a fertile ground for high-potential startups. His team will focus on increasing deal flow, supporting promising founders from smaller cities in the northern belt, and fostering local collaborations with corporates and government-led innovation programs.
Beyond national expansion, Turbostart continues to develop its global ecosystem. It already operates actively in the United States and the Middle East, and is exploring future expansions into the United Kingdom and Singapore.
